Nowsee Cart is server software and you should contact your
ISP to find out exactly what type of server hardware and software they are using. There is
no need to get your ISP involved in the installation as Nowsee Cart is installed at the
virtual domain level. As long as you have the ability to run cgi programs then you will
not have to get your ISP involved in the installation process. Our software, if installed
correctly, is very secure and stable. Nowsee Cart comes with a setup Wizard which is easy
to use and Nowsee Cart sets itself up on your server.

Note: If you do not find your server platform here, please
contact us as we can compile a version for your server.
The first step is know if your Internet Service Provider
allows you to run cgi programs. Nowsee Cart is a compiled program and is not a set of perl
scripts. It is important that you have access to your cgi-bin directory and can change
permissions on your own. Usually cgi programs are kept in a "cgi-bin" directory
or "scripts directory. All you need to know here is that your ISP allows you to run
cgi programs. The installation does not usually involve any help from your ISP. The usual
directory structure is

and we recommend to copy the files to a new
directory with the name cart.
On UNIX systems the binary is the file named
"setup". On NT, the binary is named "setup.exe". On UNIX systems the
executable bits may need to be turned on for the binary file by typing "chmod 755
setup" if you have telnet access or use WSFTP to change this mode,

Finally, run the web setup wizard by
accessing the following URL with your browser.
